Eubulus
We are hitting up the windy city this saturday for yet another wilco show. This one is going to be at the Vic and they will be taping it for a live cd. Can't wait.
Last night we played open mic and it seemed to go really well, people liked it and they told us. We felt good. Thanks Stevo and Nick and crew, and Bracks (sorry it was so cold) for making it out.
Oh, and by the way, Mac users, don't ever take your computer to Eubulus. They are not a good company. I can let you know more if you want, but just don't take your stuff there.

Too bad you couldn't stay a bit longer at Espresso Royal, after the poetry guy finished, a guy named Nick came up w/ a Korg syn. Not much bigger than a phone book w/ a touchpad plugged into it. He did three different ... well not sure what you would call them, songs I suppose ... just amazing. Kind of like listening to Erasure or the Echoing Green.
Got to chat w/ him a bit afterwards. He graduated from HS last year and he comes every Tue. to play his synth.
Bummer there wasn't more of an opportunity to interact w/ you and John w/ it so crowded and all. Ya'll sounded great and you came through on the little sound system real well.
Oh, yeah, I actually heard him start up and I wanted to talk to him, because I loved the sound. Suz and Jaden were getting pretty tired though and she had an early morning. I'll have to make it back and talk to him some more. Very cool.
