I haven't slept well lately because our bed is pretty small. We are looking at getting a bigger bed, you know invest in a good night's rest. Any opinions? Do you like your mattress? What's a good price? Help me!
I bought a cheaper mattress when I got married last summer... Big mistake. My brother bought a nice mattress just a bit ago, and he brags about it. He dropped some flow for it, but said he has never slept so well in his life. He got a sleep number bed.
I'll warn you though, don't lay on one unless your willing to buy one... Cuz not much else compares to the more expensive pillow top beds. I wouldn't buy a bed that wasn't a pillow top... So I'll toss that out there as well.
Beds are freakin expensive, Kristen and I bought one from a store called "dennis distributing" on Cedar, we got a great deal on a pretty good mattress. We couldn't find anything for under $500 before that, even the really crappy mattressess. The store kind of looks like a dump, but they sell new mattressess with minor defects. Just a thought if you don't want to drop a ton of money on a mattress. Or if you want a better mattress for cheap. -Jer
We went with the foam mattress with no box springs. It is great. It was not too expensive. We went to a futon store and got the best quality futon mattress they had. It didn’t sound so great but it is. No squeaks either.
We have a "sheep" bed. I can't remember the name brand. It's not too great. We got it about 3.5yrs ago and there are spots in the matress where it dips. So if you're not laying in that spot you roll to it.
we're going to get a platform bed. kinda like hanna's futon. slats line the base, so a box spring isn't necessary. you can go with a regular mattress or a futon. they're a harder support but great for your back. good luck on your quest...
My father has his own furniture store in Leslie and he sell all kinds of beds, mattresses, and other furniture. The name of store is Mill Creek Furniture Depot. You won't beat the deal he can give for the quality of bed...I can guarantee that. Shop around and then check out his store...you will be amazed at how much the other stores mark stuff up. His work number is 517-589-9270 Call me on my cell and I will give you his cell number and he can help you better.
FYI...I have a pillow top memory foam mattress...super sweet! Any good mattress person will tell you to lay on the bed for 5-10 minutes to see if you like it. That is my recommendation too...really lay on like you would sleep.

We have a pillowtop. It was worth the extra money.
Though I don't remember how much it cost. Kyle might.
We got it at Art Van.

We have this waveless waterbed with the tubes, it is the greatest, and the firmness is easily adjusted by filling with more or less water.
how interesting, a great theological discusion gets less comments than a mattress blog?
Great discussion so far. This will help greatly.
