home again
We left for Ohio on Saturday, just in time to beat the snow. We spent time with the family, it was Mom running around taking care of everything- kevin playing guitar (all the time) like a pro- Patrick with his new girlfriend Ashley who happens to be a couple years older but is very cool- Rach and Javier, the steady two, sitting in the double chair, playing with Jaden-Suz in the kitchen where she is supposed to be... = -Dad on the couch. It's tough to see him so sick. Yes, he cracked a couple jokes about lost modesty in the hospital, but he was much more serious than usual. I wanted more time with him to talk. We stayed there today and I was hoping he would be feeling up to chatting more, but last night we had to take him to ER becuase of his fever. He'll be in for at least another day while they figure out if he has an infection or not. Now we are home where we can't help out much. A couple words now and then, but that's about it. Keep praying.

Dan, I just want you to know that we are sincerely praying for your father and for your family. You are in our minds and on our hearts.
The Riv Women's Prayer Group has given Dan and Suzanne our prayer pager. I know many of you are probably sending pages to Dan's dad when you pray. I also know that many of you are praying specifically for Dan and Suzanne. If you'd like, drop them a page so they know when someone is talking to God on their behalf. The number is 251-0067. You can leave your number or just enter "1."
Or you can page my dad at the number below also. Thanks everyone!

O.K. So, the women's prayer group pager, the 251 number, hasn't been working this week. When we went to delete the pages from the last woman who had it, the pager freaked out. We've had to take it in to get it fixed. Keep trying to call... it should be working soon!
Thanks.
